Conference Invitation

Dear esteemed Professors, Experts, and Colleagues:
Thank you for your support to the 2023 Guangzhou ACTA!
At the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023, the haze of the COVID-19 epidemic that has been raging for three years is gradually dissipating. Approved by ACTA board members, ACTA 2023 is set to take place from October 20th (Friday) to 22nd (Sunday), 2023, in Guangzhou.
ACTA is the annual forum in tumor ablation for Asian experts. Since the inaugural conference in 2014, it has grown into one of the most influential and largest conferences in the field of tumor ablation in Asia. It has garnered extensive attention and attracted global interest. The ACTA serial has made great contributions to the promotion of progression and achievements in new research, and to the establishment of an academic exchange platform in ablation therapy.
Currently, oncology therapeutics is no longer confined to medicine alone. The borders of oncology therapeutics have also been gradually broken down. Disciplines such as chemistry, engineering, and health informatics have been integrated and applied in clinical practice, enabling oncological therapeutics to become increasingly precise at both the macroscopic and microscopic levels, such as medical imaging, histopathology, and molecular genetics. This has led to the burgeoning of innumerable molecule-targeted and immunotherapeutic agents, heralding a new era of molecular and immunotherapy. Since the 1970s, tumor ablation has played an instrumental role, bringing hopes to many cancer patients. In this new era of cancer treatment based on molecular and immunotherapy, tumor ablation also faces new opportunities and challenges. As an influential international academic organization in tumor ablation, we shoulder the responsibility to usher tumor ablation into a new stage.
The theme of the 2023 Guangzhou ACTA is “Ablation Across Borders”. This conference will invite experts from around the world and across various disciplines to exchange ideas, and to present clinical experiences and research achievements in image-guided tumor ablation from multiple dimensions. We hope that through this platform, we can propel ablation therapy across "safety borders" and "technical borders", enable ablation experts across "disciplinary borders" and "national borders", and contribute to the continuous progression of ablation techniques in this new era of oncology treatment.
In the finest season of Guangzhou, we eagerly look forward to your participation in our ACTA 2023!
